Light pink and gray

One of my favorite combinations: light pink nails (Sinful Colors "Easy Going") and a thin, soft gray t-shirt.

Stripes and a Summer smoothie

The days are becoming increasingly warm and muggy in NYC. My favorite thing to throw on in humid times like these is a striped cotton tank top. It also happens to be one of Joe's favorite things that I wear, which proves the point sometimes the simplest things impress boyfriends the most. :)



Homemade smoothie with goji berries (soaked in water until soft and puffy), blueberries, plain Greek yogurt, soy milk and strawberries. I call this a "Summer smoothie" for the goji berries and their anti-cellulite properties!

Tom Ford Nikita sunglasses (a must), a blush toned Passport jacket, Prada Saffiano top handle tote (a girl can dream), a bright platform wedge (love these Steve Maddens), peach cushion cut studs (adorable).

Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Hello, friends.

This weekend I was so happy to spend an afternoon with Joe at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The weather was cloudy and muggy, but peonies are in full bloom and made the humidity on my hair worth it.

Old and New

This week I've been happily using a few old beauty favorites of mine:
MAC's Barbie collection "Don't be shy" blush, NARS Turkish Delight, and Laura Mercier concealer.
I forgot how much I loved them! Sometimes it's nice to clean through your make-up and rediscover past loves.

Outdoor living

I love the vibrant colors and exotic feel of this Moroccan-inspired outdoor space.
I imagine just lounging for hours in a silky robe, wearing stacks of gold bangles, and drinking my favorite cocktails.

Missing summer

I miss the summer. The past few days in New York have been unseasonably high in temperature.
It makes me miss swimming with Joe in Brighton Beach, easy sundresses, the smell of sun tanning lotion.
Bright color on tan skin. I am missing summer, always.
